As far as the way I do this--by teaching myself through a few years of experimenting--there is more to this process than meets the eye in this tutorial.. like it says "the basics". Cool teeth though!! Masterful work.

Hi Evan,I have a question-is it absolutely necessary to use a dental articulator for this,or would it be possible to achieve without it? Not that I'd be ready for this any time soon lol ...I'm just starting out:/

No you do not have to use the articulator...I have made many sets without....you just have to keep checking the upper and lower together as you sculpt.

Love all the tutorials. You should publish your own book, Mask Making and sculpting for dummies :) I would definately buy it because I need to constantly look at how to do something a few times before I catch on and need tips and tricks on where to buy all the ingredients and what not. All your stuff looks so amazing and realistic.

I've been itchin to start facial reconstruction as an offshoot in my profession, but "haven't found time to practice".. These tutorials may be just the nudge I need to get off my ass! I'll practice and hone my skills with the fun stuff before getting serious with an actual patient. Thanks so much!
