I was one of four artists who sculpted a twelve foot version of the Violator for the comic book movie Spawn. I also sculpted a smaller version model that was used for CGI scanning and ended up being what was mostly seen.

that movie is so bad ass it's good to know that you were one of the artists involved.

This Character was about the only reason to watch the movie, there were other cool things and for the time, it was an icebreaker for comic book movies.

The effects in the movie sucked, except for Violator. He was pretty good.

Being a fan of spawn, I also hoped they would've made a better film out of it, but, with the rise of all those prequels and second prequels and dioversions, who knows they might make another spawn, but then done properly! (hope EvanCampbell here works on it as well

)

Well, that's a point I hadn't thought about indeed. It would open up the road for the gore that is needed to even come close to the comic book series. Ah well, who knows they will create it sooner than we expect, and hopefully make it way better. (I could kind of compare it to the hulk movies from the last ten years. one sucked hard, while they did a great job on the ones following up on it. we do have to be ware of not becoming schizo with 10's of remakes of course

) let's keep those fingers crossed!
