Fake silicone head...went it with a tiny brush to get more textures out in the paint. Now I am just adding some hair...obviously the hair will be a little messy at first but once in, I will style it.These are just practice faces so I can improve my painting with translucent material for my future work....having fun doing it.

Always impressed with your work. What kind of colors do you use? Just "typcial" acrylics? Im asking because while searching on how to create highly realistic dolls/sculptures I came across some special colors like "genesis paint" or "jo sonja" or those brands familiar to you?

So, how many strands of hair before we can say it's... close to realistic? (I guess you almost need to be a buddhist to finish "heads" like these. Then again, indeed, all good things take time, a lot of it ;) )
