Wow, that is some amazing detail for WED clay. Astonishing. I would've guessed a much harder clay. Did you do all the details while it was still really moist?

I always find it amazing when you think that an artist has crafted - what is no more than a lump of clay - into something that so captures a living personality that even though you know its just clay you invest it with thoughts and feeling and imagine a life once led. Your work is inspirational :) I should so get round to doing a bust of my daughter. promises and procrastinations ha.
