This is creepy, on a strange level, that I am unclear what the hell is happening to these poor persons though they do not appear to be in pain or ever were in pain so maybe it is not creepy, I guess I have seen your work many times and never realized, it was yours, I guess more so when i watch movies and see effects I would never associate the FC Bar of soap as related to some of your other pieces , nice to stumble on your work today.

you got a lot of talent and creativity. Today's DD brought me here and I am awe struck and what you've accomplished. You should judge on sci fi's 'face off'.

But, you know, Mr. Campbell, I just can't figure where your head's at to come up with these gory masterpieces.

What do you use to smooth out the Roma Plastilina? Like those bubble forms and such.

I keep seeing bubbles and precious orbs and tumourus growths in this image while trying to figure out what mind frame this person/demon/creature has.
Wondering if it is in pain or feeling extrodinarily beautiful.

Quite the thought provoker I must say :)

i had a dream where this happened, only it was an alien surrogate gathering up eggs into its body...i'm creeped out that i'd find this searching through someone's fave gallery. but that aside. really impressive...i don't know what to think, i can't believe you carved this out of clay, i think sculpting is much more...viscereal? than drawing, it's more closer to being a creator i think. fashioning with the hands. extreme man

This work immediately grabbed my attention. It is incredibly disturbing in so many ways. I love her expression, she appears so stately, as if completely unaffected by anything happening to her or around her. It brings to mind pride, but not the mild form that most people possess, I mean corrosive, self-defeating, conceit.

Chilling surrealism and you've tapped into a personal anxiety of mine - strange objects just under the skin. This reminds me somewhat of David Cronenberg's movie "The Brood."

Thanks...it is so great to get a response like this!
Cronenberg's one of my favorites...I love his early Films from the 70's!

It's a GREAT work and I can't help but ask what size it is?

I've loved Cronenberg since I first saw his film "They Came From Within." His most recent films are much more cerebral than visceral.
