Do you think that 2 species (human, and whatever that alien is) that evolved independently on different worlds (probably leading to different evolutionary pressures)where life originated from totally different biogeneses , where life was subjected to different contingent events (like asteroid hit that killed the dinosaurs to allow mammals to take over) would somehow evolve in such a way that they end up so similar? This alien looks more closely related to humans than the closest relatives to humans. If you someone that look like this in real life, it would be ridiculous to believe that this in an alien and not some genetically diseased or deformed alien. There are so many forms and ways for life to exist, yet people are content with simply imaging some human with different eyes or slightly differently shaped head. Those things do not make it look alien to me... just a frowning human with a few little differences.
That's very true! I didn't think of it that way! For al we know, this is just an alien to us, but he could really have been a human in some other galaxy lightyears away from us!
